Oscar is a practising lawyer and a partner in the law firm Clyde & Co. His introduction to the arts began with pottery some 33 years ago. He developed an interest in painting 18 years ago, studying with Leslie Goodman in Perth. He moved to Sydney in 1995 and continued painting with the Russian artist and art teacher Yefim Novikov.

Oscar joined the studio of the well known South African born artist Eileen Rogoff and works with Keith Kearney. His work is now semi abstract and reflects his view of what he sees in his day to day existence and travels. Oscar's work has been exhibited at the following exhibitions:
